Our brain is a very complex computer system that responds to programming of
thoughts, behaviors, and actions. It doesn’t make judgements or defenses around what
is programmed unless those filters are also programmed as part of the data base. It
simply responds to what has been uploaded to it either consciously or subconsciously.
So, doesn’t it make sense to prioritize positive input to your computer by way of positive
images and beneficial thought patterns and joyful behaviors? This has the bonus of not
only positive thinking moving forward but also being able to replace negative and painful
issues from the past.
Negative thoughts, images and behaviors not only influence mood and outlook but
actual physical wellbeing. This negative programming also serves to reinforce
dysfunctions that have been previously downloaded with the result of ongoing cycles of
pain and destructive behaviors.
Positive programming can be accomplished by meditation, visualization, talk therapy
and most important, refusing to engage in negative thoughts and behaviors, For those
who struggle with this process there is much help available through counseling,
coaching, and psychotherapy. These professionals are trained to help turn the
negatives in to positives and begin to think and act in more positive ways.
